The answer to that question falls into two categories: The quality in design and construction of the We're Organized cabinet. And the integrity of the company and its commitment to customer service.
The We're Organized Cabinet: The 400lbs. aluminum extrusion at the top and bottom casing of our cabinet, the pull extrusion that runs the length of our doors and drawers, and shelf extrusions to prevent sagging are all keys to the lasting strength of the We're Organized Garage Cabinet. All of our cabinets are made from a high-grade industrial pine-core board, this board uses a higher density of chip material and glue resins to achieve a stronger, more consistently solid board. All board material is finished on both sides in thermo-fused melamine, a superior hot bonding process. This material will not delaminate, peel, bubble or discolor, and cleaning is simple with a soft cloth and most any popular all-surface cleaner. We believe our proprietary aluminum extrusions and cabinet framing design provide a lasting strength that all wood cabinets and our competitors can't match. We stand behind that belief with a lifetime guarantee.
We're Organized the company: We’re Organized is a community of people who believe that success and profitability is the natural outgrowth of ethical business practices coupled with prompt courteous service. This simple philosophy has made us the leading manufacturer of garage organization systems in Northern California. Perhaps the most meaningful testament to our commitment to customer service is the fact that we've been in business for over twenty years and many of our customers have bought our cabinets for every home they've owned. UPDATE 7/10/20 - During these trying times, We're Organized is pledging to do its best to serve you in the midst of the COVID-19 outbreak. We are remaining open but have modified our standard operating procedures again to ensure safety for our customers as well as our employees. We will be maintaining normal business hours at our Rancho Cordova location but is closed to visitors. Though the office is operating daily and We're Organized is still available for in-home estimates, scheduling, and questions, we are redirecting customers who wish to see the cabinets in person to our Palladio showroom in Folsom. Our showroom at Palladio has resumed normal operating hours as listed. We do require any visitors to the Folsom showroom to observe social distancing practices and wear a face mask while in the showroom. Shelf order and cabinet pick-ups are not available at this time- we can however have said items delivered to you when our trucks are in the area. If you are unable to visit us at our Palladio location or are seeking other options, our website and sales team can provide customers with sales resources to help plan their garage/closets. Feel free to reach out to us and we can connect you with a member of our sales team for pricing!
Our garage cabinet installation crews are observing social distancing where possible and are also using safety gear (gloves and masks) to keep you safe as well as our employees safe; if you prefer to stay inside your home while your garage cabinets are being installed, we can reach out to you via phone upon completion with no face-to-face interaction necessary. Our installers have also been given sanitizer on each truck to ensure clean surfaces upon completion of the installation. If you have any questions or are interested in improving your garage organization, please contact us! We look forward to hearing from you!
There are many good reasons why most modern garage cabinets are wall hung:
Concrete is porous and water will migrate through your slab attacking cabinet materials over time. Wall mounting cabinets prevent any chance of moisture seeping through your slab attacking cabinet materials and allows for easy cleaning of the garage floor.
Installing a "straight" wall of floor resting garage cabinets is almost impossible because garage floors are sloped so water will flow out. Shims or wobble-proof adjustable feet are the only poor choice for cabinets resting on the garage floor.
Wall-hung cabinets help prevent pest infiltration. Traditional garage cabinetry is built on top of a pedestal, or a "toe-kick" that becomes a perfect nesting place for pests and bugs seeking refuge in a cool, dark place. These pests eventually find their way into your home.
Lastly and perhaps most important wall hung cabinets are much stronger and safer than floor resting cabinets. The interconnecting nature of your home's framing is incredibly strong and will add to the strength of the cabinet when mounted properly. Using 3" long, hardened steel installation screws, we mount each cabinet directly to your studs. On cabinets over 24 inches in depth, we also use the telescoping metal leg on the front edge of cabinets that screws down tight to the garage floor to support the cantilever of deeper cabinets.
