General Questions

We sell a high-grade product at a fair price considering the materials, workmanship, and attention to detail that goes into each system we install. The true value of the We're Organized cabinet can easily be seen when compared to most other cabinets that are smaller and don't have metal edging. Aluminum extrusions on the We're Organized Cabinet represent 30% of its material cost. Other companies offer door and shelf extrusions, but only as expensive upgrades. For a comparable product, We're Organized won't be under-sold on price. Our systems are sold by the cabinet box or module. Each piece is priced separately, so you can design your own system and tailor it to fit both your needs and budget. Our systems are also easily expandable, so you can add onto your system as your budget allows. The answer to that question falls into two categories: The quality in design and construction of the We're Organized cabinet. And the integrity of the company and its commitment to customer service.

The We're Organized Cabinet: The 400lbs. aluminum extrusion at the top and bottom casing of our cabinet, the pull extrusion that runs the length of our doors and drawers, and shelf extrusions to prevent sagging are all keys to the lasting strength of the We're Organized Garage Cabinet. All of our cabinets are made from a high-grade industrial pine-core board, this board uses a higher density of chip material and glue resins to achieve a stronger, more consistently solid board. All board material is finished on both sides in thermo-fused melamine, a superior hot bonding process. This material will not delaminate, peel, bubble or discolor, and cleaning is simple with a soft cloth and most any popular all-surface cleaner. We believe our proprietary aluminum extrusions and cabinet framing design provide a lasting strength that all wood cabinets and our competitors can't match. We stand behind that belief with a lifetime guarantee.

We're Organized the company: We’re Organized is a community of people who believe that success and profitability is the natural outgrowth of ethical business practices coupled with prompt courteous service. This simple philosophy has made us the leading manufacturer of garage organization systems in Northern California. Perhaps the most meaningful testament to our commitment to customer service is the fact that we've been in business for over twenty years and many of our customers have bought our cabinets for every home they've owned. Garage Cabinets

Yes. We make all our cabinets per job... and with the exception of making a structurally unsound cabinet, we will change the width, height, and depth to meet your needs. Our cabinetry is priced to the nearest larger standard unit size but can be custom-sized from standard dimensions at no extra charge. If cabinet units requested exceed our standard measurements, there is an additional cost to accommodate additional labor and material and ensure quality. Although most customers buy cabinets 22 or 24 inches deep, we can make cabinets up to 36 inches deep.

There are many good reasons why most modern garage cabinets are wall hung:

Concrete is porous and water will migrate through your slab attacking cabinet materials over time. Wall mounting cabinets prevent any chance of moisture seeping through your slab attacking cabinet materials and allows for easy cleaning of the garage floor.

Installing a "straight" wall of floor resting garage cabinets is almost impossible because garage floors are sloped so water will flow out. Shims or wobble-proof adjustable feet are the only poor choice for cabinets resting on the garage floor.

Wall-hung cabinets help prevent pest infiltration. Traditional garage cabinetry is built on top of a pedestal, or a "toe-kick" that becomes a perfect nesting place for pests and bugs seeking refuge in a cool, dark place. These pests eventually find their way into your home.

Lastly and perhaps most important wall hung cabinets are much stronger and safer than floor resting cabinets. The interconnecting nature of your home's framing is incredibly strong and will add to the strength of the cabinet when mounted properly. Using 3" long, hardened steel installation screws, we mount each cabinet directly to your studs. On cabinets over 24 inches in depth, we also use the telescoping metal leg on the front edge of cabinets that screws down tight to the garage floor to support the cantilever of deeper cabinets.

Upon the time of cabinet installation, our installers will make openings for any electrical outlets, power junction boxes, or other wall-mounted features within any garage cabinets being placed over those locations. The openings will be specific to the needs of the garage wall space and will not damage the integrity of the cabinet. The installation crew will also make incisions within pegboard and garage cabinet workbench splashes for outlet access as well. The garage cabinet installation crew will also drill grommet holes and provide grommet hole covers to not only allow access for extension cord use but also uphold the uniform look of the cabinet set.

The fabrication and assembly of the We're Organized Cabinet takes place in the controlled confines of your manufacturing facility. Our installers arrive at your location with assembled cabinetry, ready to install. Using 4" long, hardened steel installation screws, we mount each cabinet directly to your studs, install shelving, hang doors, and clean everything when complete. As an example, a 20-foot wall of cabinetry is usually installed by a three-man crew in approximately 3 hours. While most installations are completed the same day, many take less than half a day, depending on the size and complexity of the job.

We request 8' of clearance away from the garage wall so our garage cabinet installation crew can bring in the cabinets safely and ensure a secure installation. Placing items to be stored in the center of the garage is acceptable as long as there is access to installation locations and 8' of clearance to bring in the cabinet storage units.

The We're Organized guarantee covers all the products that we sell. It includes the following - hinges, warped doors, shelf pins, and construction of cabinets and workmanship of the installation. This guarantee does not include negligence on the behalf of the customer or natural disasters such as earthquakes, flooding, wind or fire, etc... We're Organized will replace any of the above-listed components which prove to be faulty during the period of time in which the original purchasing customer owns the home in which they were installed. This guarantee is non-transferable.

Our attention to detail and quality workmanship ensure a fair price for a superior product. Our garage cabinets feature aluminum extrusions, making up 30% of the material cost. Unlike other cabinet makers, we see these as mandatory components and not upgrades; we do not charge extra for this feature. We offer customizable systems sold by the cabinet unit or module, allowing you to design a custom system that fits your garage space, requirements, and budget perfectly. Our garage storage systems are easily expanded, so you can add on as your budget allows.
